Digital photo cycle - 2023

This is an ongoing cycle of images shot during public gatherings (religious processions, folk parties, weddings, strikes, demonstrations etc). It’s a kind of anthropologic research on how we (still) get to be together, through these times where collectivity is struggling with individuality.

This photo cycle was shot during the processions of the Holy Week (Catholic Easter) in Granada, Spain, April 2023. The entire city participates to the processions following old codified rituals, yet in a very festive and welcoming atmosphere for the outsiders.
